Understand the four skin types:

  • NORMAL SKIN
  • DRY SKIN
  • OILY SKIN
  • MIXED SKIN

There are four main types of healthy skin: normal, dry, oily and mixed. The skin type is determined by heredity. The condition of the skin, however, can vary greatly depending on the different internal and external factors that affect it.

You must know that several factors influence the appearance of the skin of your face. We know that poor nutrition, stress, fatigue and pollution affect the health of the epidermis. Fortunately, cosmetics suitable for your skin type and a well established  beauty ritual can overcome these aggressive factors.

Know how to define your skin type. This will help you determine which category of facial care is right for you. If in doubt, do not hesitate to consult our specialists at DERMAVISION. They will be able to offer the best products and treatments indicated for you.
Normal skin
“Normal” is the term commonly used to describe a well-balanced skin, water and fat levels are in perfect balance. It is smooth, velvety natural and firm to the touch. It presents no problem in particular: no acne, no oily or dry areas and no shine. In short, we all dream of it.Home care: bi-daily cleansing and make-up remover with Sothys Vitality Cleansing Milk followed by Vitality Lotion. Moisturize the skin in the morning and evening, using a serum and cream specially designed to moisturize dry areas.Think also make a scrub once a week insisting slightly on the T-zone needed. If necessary, make a hydrating or oxygen-purifying mask.Sothys Professional Care: Hydra 3Ha Therapy, Seasonal Care, Intensive Collagen Hyaluronic Therapy.
Dry skin
“Dry” is the term used to describe a type of skin that produces less sebum than normal skin. As a result of lack of sebum, dry skin lacks the necessary lipids to retain moisture and build a protective screen against external influences.  The skin texture  is rather thin but it is that it pulls very easily, itches and blushes quickly. Often we can see small cracks, even scabs.
Home Care:  Go for Sothys Comfort Cream Milk or Cleansing Milk and Sothys Comfort Lotion with Spa Thermal Water for sensitive skin or Sothys Blue Line cosmetics. Morning and evening, moisturize your skin with soothing cream or velvety fluid with ultra-soft textures or the Sothys regenerating solution. To booster your skin, rely on moisturizing masks (once or twice a week depending on your needs) that will reconstitute the hydrolipidic film.
